  • scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

These little daisies are very simple to make. I made these chunky ones using a 8mm hook and recycled cotton rope but any yarn would work - just vary the size of your hook to suit the yarn. You only need small amounts of yarn so this is a great project for using up scraps.

PATTERN

DAISIES (MAKE 5)

FOUNDATION RING (CENTRE): using your yellow yarn, create a magic ring, ch1 (this helps to secure the ring), 12dc into the ring, slip stitch into the first dc, fasten off and weave in the loose ends.

ROUND 1 (PETALS): using white yarn ss into any stitch on the round and *ch11, ss into the next st* 12 times (in each st of the round), fasten off and weave in loose ends.

GARLAND: using green yarn ch60, *dc into the back loop at the top of one of the daisy petals, ch3 and dc into the back loop at the top of the next petal (so that each daisy is suspended by two petals), ch15* repeat 4 times but on the final time ch60 instead of 15. Fasten off an weave in loose ends.

Happy hooking!
